The HR team are now working to a People Partnering model with specific team members primarily working with designated teams.
There are People Partners who are aligned to specific areas and each have a People Advisor reporting to them and supporting their relevant teams.
The People Partners will work alongside senior leaders to provide advice and guidance on all HR matters and work proactively with them to strategically manage their people.
To further support this, we are continuing to develop our workforce data and reporting provision and now have a dedicated HR Manager in the team to focus on this work.
The People Advisors work closely with the People Partners to ensure their teams are supported on a range of HR issues and line managers have the support they need to effectively manage case work and other operational HR issues.
The ICB’s HR team still work closely with SCWCSU who continue to provide the transactional elements of human resources including our recruitment and contractual administration service. The internal HR team continue to work with managers and provide advice on:
- Recruitment/ Post approval process
- Recruitment & Selection Practice
- Employee Resourcing/ Retention
- Terms and Conditions of Employment
- Application of the ICB’s HR Policies/ Procedures
- Employee Relations and Employment Law
- Absence Management, Performance Management & Personal Development of staff
- AFC Pay Progression
- Organisational Change Processes
- Job Evaluation/Job Matching (in conjunction with the support of the CSU)
- Family Leave and Flexible Working
- Retire and Return
Wherever possible and to ensure your request is dealt with promptly, any general enquiries for the ICB’s HR team should be directed to our shared mailbox
