Let’s Talk About Vaccines (LTaV) Training

Build Confidence in Vaccine Conversations – Join Our Free LTaV Training

We are pleased to invite you to take part in the Let’s Talk About Vaccines (LTaV) training — a free, interactive 2.5‑hour online session designed to build confidence, skills, and knowledge when discussing vaccination decisions with people.

This training is open to all health, social care and voluntary sector staff across the Hampshire & Isle of Wight ICB footprint and draws on approaches such as Making Every Contact Count (MECC), Shared Decision Making, and Motivational Interviewing.

What the training covers

  • Understanding issues, myths, and barriers surrounding vaccine hesitancy
  • Learning practical, non‑judgemental techniques to help people make informed choices
  • Improving everyday conversations about vaccine uptake in your role

We also recognise that learning continues beyond the session. All attendees are invited to join a bi‑monthly Community of Practice, led by an experienced coach trainer, to help embed skills and maintain confidence in real‑world conversations.
