Primary Care Induction Programme
The PMA Introduction to Primary Care Induction Programme for Hampshire & Isle of Wight covers all the key areas that need to be addressed when working within this sector as a new starter (clinical or non-clinical).
The sessions focus on the need-to-knows in Primary Care with the first session “Introduction to Primary care” being made available for all new starters to attend. Then the additional 14 x 1-hour sessions are for delegates to cherry pick based on their learning requirements.
All sessions will be delivered as interactive sessions with practical guidance to enable participants to map all the techniques and outcomes onto their own practice. Group work is provided on all aspects of the programme so that participants develop their understanding of the topics by interacting with other colleagues across Primary Care.
For AHPs and both the pharmacy and nursing workforce in General Practice, the Primary Care School can support you with a range of support for education and training. Visit the Primary Care School for information about accessing CPD, support for your role development and information and support on hosting learners in Primary Care.
