Are you a GP working in a permanent role in a Hampshire or Isle of Wight Practice? Did you or will you complete your training within the last year. Have you considered a New to Practice Fellowship?

Fellowships are funded for one session per week (pro rata), paid at your usual sessional rate (to a capped maximum).
They are open to anyone who meets the eligibility criteria – although numbers to each cohort are limited so we suggest applying as early as you are able to avoid disappointment.
The Fellowship provides a protected space to focus on your own personal development. The programme includes mentoring, monthly half-day CPD programme and time really getting to know your Practice and PCN.
Some examples of CPD sessions we run include the following:
- PCNs
- ARRS roles
- IT
- Strengths and values
- QI
- Compassionate leadership and ideas exchange
- Feedback skills
- Models of GP
- Learning Environments
- PM and finance

Please note that we are unable to support Locums on the New to Practice Fellowship Programme as the funding must be paid via a GP Practice. Locums are however still eligible for the HIOW Early Careers Mentoring Programme.
